The founder

I didn't set out to build a skincare brand.I set out to solve a problem nobody else cared enough to fix.

For years I dealt with skin issues I couldn't get ahead of. In my mid-twenties I'd had enough, so I saw a dermatologist to figure out what was actually going on. I walked out with three prescriptions. I filled them — and hated the idea of depending on them. So I went looking for the root cause instead.

Digging around, I found that zinc could help with the inflammation and flaking I was dealing with. So I started washing my face with dandruff shampoo. It sounds ridiculous. It also worked.

But my skin still didn't look great. Courtney — my wife — kept pushing me to try her skincare. I resisted. Expensive, bright packaging from a beauty store? Hard pass. Eventually I caved. The irritation cleared. The redness settled. My skin finally felt under control.

That taught me something: the ingredients matter. Zinc, peptides, amino acids — premium actives actually perform. Good skincare wasn't the problem. The problem was that none of it was built for men.

If I was going to put something on my face twice a day, it needed to work — and it needed to feel like me.

I've been lifting since my teens. Somewhere along the way I got serious about nutrition — learning what I put in my body, and why. Protein for muscle. Zinc for recovery. Vitamins and minerals for performance. Once I understood the inputs, the outputs followed. It wasn't complicated. It just took the right system.

Skincare works the same way. Zinc, peptides, amino acids — these are ingredients men who train already understand. The language existed. The knowledge existed. What didn't exist was a brand that spoke it. The men's aisle was built around fragrance and marketing angles, not function. Quality lived only in products designed for women.

I raised the idea to my barber. He told me he'd tried to navigate the beauty-store skincare aisle and found it completely overwhelming. When I mentioned zinc, he laughed — he'd been washing his face with dandruff shampoo too.

Once I started looking, the insight was everywhere. Men weren't avoiding skincare because they didn't care. They were avoiding it because nobody had built something worth caring about.

So I built it.

SKN SUPPS is performance skincare for men — quality actives men's skin actually needs, in language that makes sense to anyone who already invests in how they train and recover. A simple, progressive system: Reset, Rebuild, Optimize.

It starts with Zinc. It's built to go further from there.
